Riverside County Real Estate Market Update
Updated: Aug 20

The Riverside County housing market has slowed down, giving buyers more options and a little more breathing room. According to the July 2026 Riverside County Housing Report, 70% of available homes have been on the market for at least 30 days, with nearly half sitting for more than two months. Inventory has increased, while affordability challenges and higher mortgage rates continue to limit buyer demand.
For sellers, this means that accurate pricing, strong presentation, and the right marketing strategy matter more than ever. For buyers, more inventory and longer market times can mean greater selection, more time to evaluate their options, and potentially more room to negotiate.
Real estate conditions can vary significantly by neighborhood and price range, so understanding your specific local market is key to making a well-informed decision.
